Autumn Whitworth Elmore
We're excited to welcome Autumn to the Rooted Resource Center teaching team! Autumn is a wife, mother, and educator with a passion for helping students learn and grow. With a minor in Spanish, a Global Seal of Functional Fluency in Spanish, and years of experience tutoring and mentoring youth, she is well-equipped to inspire and encourage her students.
This semester, she will be teaching introductory Spanish as well as a hands-on wreath-making class that explores the history and origins of wreaths while teaching students how to create their own. Join us in welcoming Autumn!
Chantel Eurich
Chantel Eurich is a homeschool educator and performing arts director who is passionate about helping students build confidence, communication skills, and creativity through theater and improvisation. A former New York State All-State Singer and recipient of multiple vocal performance scholarships, she has performed the National Anthem at numerous public events and appeared in productions including The Sound of Music and Into the Woods. Chantel creates a fun, encouraging environment where students can grow in confidence, creativity, and self-expression.
Jennifer Abayowa
Jennifer Abayowa is a homeschool parent, co-op lead teacher, and Project Approach educator with a background in science and medical communications. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Human Biology and has spent 13 years helping healthcare companies communicate complex ideas through compelling stories. She brings her love of science and storytelling into the classroom, creating experiences that make learning exciting, meaningful, and memorable.
Justin Larck
Catherine Swart
Catherine Swart graduated from the University of Arizona in 2006 with a BA in Education. During her 8-year public teaching career, she taught World History, Honors World History, and AP US History, creating joint writing assignments and teaching students how to analyze and compose various styles of text at the collegiate level. Catherine currently homeschools her 3-kids, grades K, 3rd, & 5th and is in her third year teaching the 7th-12th grade class at a weekly homeschool co-op. In her down time, she loves to read, bake, travel, and spend time with family.
Drew Boyd
Hi, I’m Drew! I’m a homeschooling mom who loves helping kids learn through great books, hands-on experiences, nature, creativity, and meaningful conversations. I believe learning should be engaging, memorable, and connected to real life—not just something that happens at a desk. My heart is to create a welcoming environment where children feel encouraged to ask questions, explore new ideas, build confidence, and develop a genuine love of learning. I especially enjoy incorporating stories, nature, life skills, character development, and interactive activities that help lessons come alive. As a Christian, I value teaching children not only knowledge but also qualities like kindness, perseverance, responsibility, gratitude, and compassion. I strive to make my classes a place where students feel safe, supported, and excited to participate. I’m excited to learn, explore, and grow alongside your children!
Kassandra Vieth
Hi, I'm Kassandra, a Jesus loving wife, mom of three, and passionate educator. I love bringing history to life through hands-on, project-based learning that encourages curiosity, creativity, and discovery. History is more than a collection of events; it's His Story unfolding through generations, revealing God's faithfulness and purpose. My desire is to help students engage with the past while developing the gifts and talents God has uniquely given them. I'm excited to explore Medieval History together!
Charlotte Monroe
Charlotte Monroe is an Orton-Gillingham trained educator with 20 years of experience, including 18 years in the classroom. She holds a Master's Degree in Elementary Curriculum, Assessment and Instruction, as well as an Administration Specialist certification. Based in Troy, she is passionate about making reading fun and bringing confidence to every child. She provides intensive literacy support, finding the best ways to help students thrive in whatever learning environment they are in.Your paragraph text
David McClleand
David McClleand “Mr. Mack” comes to Rooted Resource Center with an extensive background in mechanical engineering and project development. He enjoys discipling students to embrace creativity and their God given gifts. Helping to cultivate the future scientists and engineers of tomorrow. A personal quote is “Don’t be afraid to fix or understand anything!” because when you learn the basics moving toward higher learning becomes easier!
